HI
MONTE

I GOT A QUESTION FOR YOU! IM THE ONE THAT ASKED YOU ABOUT THE MXT DETECTOR FROM WHITE'S. I HAVE FOWNED A LOCALE DEALER IN MY AREA. AND IM GOING TO TRY OUT SOME OF THEAR DETATORS. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS I SHOULD LOOK FOR,WHEN TRYING OUT A METAL DETACTOR? HOW ABOUT THE SALE'S MAN TO?IS THERE ANY THING THEIR THAT I SHOULD BE AWHERE OF?

PRISCILLA WHITE BACK !

Monte must be out detecting or sipp'n some egg nog.

As a dealer myself, I'll answer this:

Make sure the 'Shoe' fits.... is the detector comfortable. That should be right from the get go.

Ask the dealer if there are any holiday specials. Currently, it should be the Std Headphones, Detector Bag and 140MM Bullseye Electronic Probe. $0.00. $210.00 Value.

Make sure that the particular model is the RIGHT model that will best fit your needs. The MXT for example is an outstanding Hybrid, excellent for Coin/Jewelry/Beach as well as Gold Nuggets, plus it also has a Relic Mode.

The MXT is a very quick two filter detector operating at 14.7 kHz, and its advanced ground tracking system is tops among VLF Detectors.

Also:
In what way is your regional dealer competitive: Knowledge, Value, Free Loaners in the even the detector has to go in, Amount of Accessories and Inventory, Supporter of the Local Club etc etc

How fast can the DFX be adjusted in comparison to the MXT ? Will the 2 filter setting put it in the same ballpark in terms of a quick target response ?

Thanks,

Ralph

to your second question: NO

I like the easy one! :)

Ball Park... Close

The MXT is a Two Filter unlike the DFX which relys on a combo of Hardware and Software to Replicate a two filter. I actually prefer the 3 Filter on the DFX with a Sweep Speed of 1 on your 950 and smaller loops.... works great on the Bigfoot.
