Quattro VS. Exlplorer SE

I have owned a quattro now for about a year. I have nothing to complain about because I have found some decent finds with it, but because of the slow recovery speed I feel like I am going right over alot of the better deeper targets. I have the smaller 6" coil, but it doesn't seem to help out a whole lot. Does the Explorer have a quicker recovery speed? Does the explorer work better in trashy area's. Anything helps! also if you have a good program to start out with that would be great.
 
The Se works pretty good in trashy areas , better than the explorer xs and 2 . If you are going on junky sites you need the SE.
