Quattro to explorer SE NEED HELP !

New member
how much of a learning curve is thare from the quattro to the explorer se ! i know the quattro like the back of my hand.

If you know the Quattro that well, the Explorer SE will be a good and easy upgrade. I have used a Quattro and found it works similar to the Explorer, I had a couple of hunts with a friend using the Quattro and we compared signals and many coin signals by the Explorer, the Quattro said it was junk, the Explorer was right.

I must have missed your post. If you are an ace with your Quattro, then you will have not problem switching over the Explorer. You will find that the recovery time between targets is much faster. I think that you are heading in the right direction with your choice of the Explorer.

The Explorer is the same in design, but not in the electronic ability. The Explorer is more adjustible than the Quattro. If you need more information let me know.

Quattro was a user friedly edition of the Explorer but did not have the abilities of many changeable facets in Explorers and certainly does not have an Explorers ability..I think you have a good start with a Quattro so your learning period should be shortened and again an Explorer is only as easy or hard as you want it to be...and of course many experienced Explorer forum members to help you along..
