Is in process of being officially verified
and recorded,but has been identified as Roman
and possibly a dagger/knife handle.
Found with me trusty Quattro.

Very nice decoration on it,a great thrill to find!

I found a medieval dagger handle guard myself about a year ago,one of my best finds to date,here it is below

Wow, now that's what I can "relics". I reckon its fantastic to be able to find these medieval pieces. Here in Aussieland, they say that before Captain Cook discovered Australia, the Dutchies were here long before (1700), hence, the "Mahogany Ship" legend. Would be nice to find a relic washed up on the beach from one of these oldies. Great hunting!

I'm not surprised your "panting" over that one Angela, you relic hunter you. That's pretty hot stuff, and I'd admit, I'd be panting too if I found something like that, especially since it's probably pretty darn old also. :O:|
