Got out for a couple hours after work today. The 1908 IH was around 5 inches. Both the 1880 & 1883 IH's were 8+ inches. Can't wait for the weekend, weather outlook is pretty mild.

Great looking IH! How did you clean them? I found one that was in pretty bad condition and tried to clean it but no luck.

Thanks. I dont normally do much cleaning at all besides rinsing with soap and water and sometimes if its not a key date coin i'll use a very soft bristle tootobrush. I got lucky with those indian heads they came out of the ground pretty nice. Thats not usually the case.

B Ratny - very nice finds. What did those VDI at?

Keith - I use a qtip cotton swap with amonia and it works great for cleaning IH's.

Thanks Mirage. Indian Heads seem to come in at a #32 and the fatties 1859-the 1864CN come in a little above the nickel range. Probabally due to the metal content.
