Quattro Questions

I'm looking at the Quattro or Explorer XS.

How do these two compare?

Which would you recommend for coin/ring hunting?

Both machines are mint condition with stock coils.

Thanks,

Owned the Quattro, and it was a beast on depth, newer than the xs for sure. Have the e-2 now and I don't think the quattro was second to it in any way. The explorers do seem to have a taste for deep silver though. Like I said I don't see you making a mistake with either, but the Q might be easier to get repaired than the xs because of the model. Just my thoughts. HH.............

i have the quattro. pretty impressive at the beach but any trashy areas it will null out for so long u will think it has turned itself off. no comment on explorer never owned one. if u can stand swinging for 45 sec. every two feet then the quattro is for u.
