Quattro/Explorer/XT70 Manufacture Dates

I have just read through all the posts on the Quattro vs Explorer, or the XT70 and find them very interesting. I have another question, when were these machines put on the market in the UK? Are there references, or dates on these machines to tell when they were manufactured?
