quattro and platypus

dragonsbreath

New member
Have just ordered a platypus coil for my quattro.
is anyone using this combination?
if so where does pinpoint occur as on stock coil
its just about under where shaft joins.
although a waterproof coil i have heard that some
have had problems with falseing on wet sand....
any and all comments would be appreciated.
Thanks Paul.

The pin point is on the toe and the heel and it is very accurate...I've used the combo for about a year now and it can't be beat..

Platypus is a blinding coil. I wasn't keen on it at first, like all coils, there's a readjustment if you use this, but it's my favourite coil now. Seem to find more per hour than I do/did with the stock coil. Pinpoint's spot on, tones are crisp and it's deep and sensitive to small stuff. A must buy in my opinion!
