howdy fairly new to detecting.are these detectors about the same in performance. thanx. quatro vs gti 2500

to me, the 2500 is aabout the same as the 2500 other then lacking in some extra features that quite a few don't use like treasure talk. But the manual ground balance is a nice feature that the 1500 doesn't have.

Now to me, the 1500 has a faster swing speed, faster recovery speed then the Quattro, and a very good target imaging feature, which is quite accurate up to 5-6" deep. It's one of the best coin machines going in my opinion.

The Quattro has a slower recovery spped, slower sweep speed, but better at target seperation then the GTi and definately deeper.
Also love the display and gettin used to the tones.

thanx for the input.i only have a ace 250. looking for one high end unit and then one decent water unit.trying to get my fahter to start. My thought was the quattro and sea hunter (dont think i can afford the excell 1000 and the quattro.
