Quarter Total

Member
Just to amuse myself I counted all the clad quarters I found this year. I found 197 hunting four parks and a few houses. I was hoping to find all fifty state quarters this year but I was short finding eight. Surprisingly I did not find one from my home state which is New York. There were three 1976 bicentennial quarters in the mix, along with eight national park quarters, and one silver Washington.

tcp,

It's amazing to me that those bicentennials you found will be 40 years old next year.
I remember clearly when they were new. :)

This first year I detected years ago I found 863.14 in coins mostly hunting sand piles and wood chip playgrounds. There is too much completion now and back then I went three or four times a week. I think I was the only one in town doing that back then.

Check your Wisconsin quarters for minting errors http://www.us-coin-values-advisor.com/state-quarter-errors.html#Wisconsin
