Yeah. Have you tried Mr. Gifford's recommendation-just where pulltabs "crackle"? Deeper on silver.

Just got home from work. Sorry about the delay. I just take an average tab (not the sta-tab that falls in the nickel range) and rotate the disc. until it just breaks up or is almost eliminated. You will even find clad UNDER tabs with this setting.
