Quarter cut 8 Reales coin

Has anyone seen anything like this? Found in a old ball field a few inches down (Nox 800). I think it is a 1799 Bust Type dollar. The 8 (for 8 reales) is visible, and it looks like a 7 in front of the 99. They were made between 1772 - 1825.
 
Congrats on a very cool find... ive seen pics of many cut ones thru the years,nothing unusual about that.. looks to have some crisp detail left too...

That is a real nice piece of history of this nation from back when it was first formed.
 
Nice 2 bit ...My hunting buddy pulled out a 1 bit (worth 12.5 cents ) . Your 2 bit is worth a quarter of a dollar..
