Quantum II, the good, the bad, the ugly?

My son bought me a used Quantum II, late Christmas present and need some feedback on performance and any tips. I'm not sure this detector was ever used as it's in perfect condition. I did read the field test on Lost Treasue site but you know how that goes. Every machine tested there is ranked the best thing since bread pudding. Thanks for any help!

The Quantum II, like the XT has a Histograph or Sizing Technology.

Turn the Noise Reduction Off and you can hear the deepest targets.

Accept Zone 1 Reject Zone 2 and Accept the Rest.... you've tuned it the BEST!!!

The Quantum can be swept as slow as the M6 or MXT, if not slower.

At 6.59 kHz with Noise Reduction Off, you can hear most gold jewelry missed by other under 10 kHz Detectors due to the unique Quantum Circuit.

I don't think I have the noise reduction feature. I've heard of this feature on the QXT. Is it called something else on the Quantum 11? Thanks!
