just wanted to share this. i got an older white's metal detector traded from a friend well got to use it for the first time this weekend i was really surprise with it the first thing i found was a wheat penny 1924 it was 7 inch's deep i then found a pull tab deeper than the penny. so am very happy with the Quantum 2. and i hear a lot of people saying it's not any good. i guess it's all in what a person like's. can't wait to take it out again, for it to be an older detector am really glad i had a chance to get this one. it will be a back up detector to my mxt.
