[attachment 52435 nicegroup.JPG][attachment 52436 chunkysilver2.JPG][attachment 52437 CasaLoma1.JPG]Some recent finds.

That's what I'm talking about. It's always nice to find something other than pennies and clads.

You said it awhitster.
We've opened a few bottles with that one it's nickel plated and nice to boot.
That was my first gents chunky ring.

I tried looking up that mark to see who the maker is. Couldn't find it. Any idea's?

nice finds, Im intrigued that you found the Casa Loma medallion in Scotland, toured through there just last fall...its really something to see....

Hi gwn,
Yes we thought the Casa Loma medallion was an unusual find but a nice one. (probably a Canadian on vacation here) Found out that it's a castle and been told it's a fab place.
Was informed that it's made by putting a dime or a penny or a cent into a pressing machine and it obviously squeezes and presses it into the new form.
There's a machine like that at the Moffat Woolen Mill down in the deep south of Scotland.

Nice collection also, but how about a few pictures of your beautiful home land. At least take some pictures of where you found your loot.
