Before I even got the E-Trac, I read Andy's book and translated the settings I had on the SE into E-Trac settings, so the first thing I did was make those adjustments. (The SE to E-Trac is a slightly easier translation/transition than say, an XS). Andy's book explaining all the settings made it easy to figure out what settings translated over, what was new, and what equated to what. I don't have that list handy, but if you write down all the settings for the Explorer, then make a column for the E-Trac, you can pretty much fill in the blanks, and compare one to the other (and taking account the changes in numerical scale for some*) that should do the trick. Threshold pitch is one, variable tones, recovery fast/deep, volume limits and gain, etc. My Explorer won't be set up like your Explorer, so this is something you have to do on your own so that
your E-Trac sounds like your Explorer, not like mine.

The most important settings are your audio settings, the others are preference, such as sensitivity, etc.
The list would look something like this:
E-Trac Setting Explorer Setting
Thresh Level
Vol Limit
Vol Gain
Response
# Tones
Sounds
Variability
Limits
Thresh Pitch
Recover Deep
Recover Fast
Trash Dens
Ground
Noise Cxl
Cond/Fer Sounds
* The ranges change for these settings:
Exp E-Trac
Vol Gain 1-10 1-30
Vol Limit 0-10 0-30
Variability 1-10 1-30
Limits 1-10 1-30
So for example, if you had these settings on your Explorer:
Gain 7
Vol Limit 10
Var 10
Limit 6
They would be equivalent to these on the E-Trac (multiply the Explorer setting values by 3):
Gain 21
Vol Limit 30
Var 30
Limit 18
