There will be no replacements for the GTI's anywhere in the near future as they are selling quite well. There will be new PROformance imaging coils for the GTI's coming out soon which should improve their performance. I've had one for over a month to field test but with this miserable rain for the past 35 days I haven't had much of a chance to get out with it but I think it will be a winner.

Was hoping that Garrett and whites will be putting out new detectors.
I guess it will only be Whites at the end of the year for the DFX.
Do you thing the the DFX is that mush better then the GTI 2500 or the other way around???Thanks JT
 
Since the GTI's are still selling quite well there isn't much reason to pump another machine out, plus they are busy making 250's - their top selling detector right now. DFX and 2500 both great machines but would give the edge to the 2500 for its imaging, ground tracking, other features, and raw depth in all metal.

Well if whites don't put out a replacement I might get the GTI 2500,,,Hope the New Coil will come with the Unit.
I bought Garrett CX3 years ago and a few months after i bought it they came out with the CX3 crossfire,as where mind didnot have it....
Glad you like the GTI2500 and Its funny I don't see many people on here talking about their GTI2500s,but when I go to whites DFX site ,everyones talking about their DFXs.....It makes me wonder..JT
 
New 2500's will come with the new coil and it's a dandy. People are using their 2500's except they all got hung up playing with the new fun 250 and haven't spoken much about their 2500's - me included.

You can send it down here, Bill and I'll give it a test. Don't think it's ever going to rain here, at least not enough to amount to anything.
