Put my belt plate up for auction on ebay...

No, not my Civil War MVM belt plate, this is a 100 year old commemorative plate I found in a second hand store the other day, buried under a ton of junk nobody had bothered rooting through (I thought I saw a penny). I pulled it out and read it, its a 400th year commemorative belt plate honoring Christopher Columbus' discovery of the New World. It was made in 1892, and dated such. Here are a couple pictures of it, and a link to the ebay site if you want to take a look at it. Hoping to make a couple bucks off it. If not, hey, maybe we'll see a contest soon.

Went detecting a couple hours this afternoon. Took advantage of a somewhat cooler day than we've been having. Soon as I got out of the truck, I found a shotgun brass and a lid off an old mayonnaise jar... I knew it was going to be a good day. After about 1 1/2 hours of mostly dead air and finding a couple more shotgun brass, I finally nailed this Civil War bullet. Not wanting to press my luck, I decided to end it there, it was too hot anyway.
