Put a mixture of my finds in a picture frame

Looks really nice on the wall. Found the frame in the cellar, is kind of small, only 10x12". Have more nice finds to show if only I can find a spot for another frame where my wife has her Elvis collection, or maybe I can replace this frame with a larger one. Top row has two 2 cents, quarters & silver 3 cent. Second row has 1801 Spanish reale. Third row is large pennies & a wheatie. Forth row is two half cents and nickles. Lower left corner is a 1936 season pass for NJ beach. So far I like the way the display turned out. Coins are held in place with double stick tape. All the coins and other targets were found years ago, it was fun finding them and they really should be displayed.

That looks great! Thanks for the pics.

WTG nice finds and more out there........hh.....bro.........Dan

It just boggles my mind how many things we dig and reenter into circulation .... be it coin or relic. Some guys i know have been doing it for over 40 years and have never sold a thing. I have an uncle who got me started, hes almost 80 now and has a lot of what i call WAR STORIES of the hay day when coin collection was simple. He has recently started selling some of his relics, coin, and tokens at auction. Hes always amazed what people are paying for things he thought was just interesting at the time he dug them. It would be interesting just to know how many coins we have put back into circulation.... not to mention the rare ones. Civil war stuff.... well they complain about us diggin them... but if it werent for us history would take these items from us. I love seeing displays like this.... look at the history saved.
