Purchase the Ace 250 or 350 ? Need Input ...

I want to purchase either the 250 or 350 for a backup for my MXT. I mostly will hunt parks, tot parks, beaches and do coin shooting , jewelry, but probably no gold nuggets and limited relic. Money is not a consideration in this purchase since the detectors are so close in price. Is the 350 a better detector for these purposes? I understand that the 350 has a new chip for expanded iron scale , but the 250 has a larger scale on the coin side. What say you guys that are users of these detectors. An extra one when my buddy comes down for the weekend and the grand children. Thanks, Marty

I think you will do just fine with the ACE 350. It is still tweaked for US coins. It just might put the silver dime & copper penny closer together. You would dig them anyways, as they give a nice strong repeatable signal in all directions. The Euro Ace is the one which is tweaked a little different to pick up more iron targets.

The 350 would give you a bit of an edge with its advanced technology and the new DD coil which is much easier to pinpoint with and better performance.

thanks Willy.
I think it is better than Whites tracker 4 for $91 on Amazon.
