Hi Guys,
Using the exterra 70 in discriminate patterns here in AUSTRALIA pulltabs and ringpulls a lot of them you can knock out but there is some that fall right on our 5cent -10cent- 20cent coins which in numbers are 8-12-20. I am using the standard coil. Can anbody tell me does the 18.75kh. elepitical dd coil make any difference in discriminate with odd shapes and coins.I have noticed with some tabs that you get a broken up signal and you can tell they are pulltabs.

Regards Pinpointa from AUSTRALIA down under.

Nope, tabs come in all over the place. I was at a beach two nites ago using the HF elliptical where deep broken ring pulls were hitting as a high as 30. This was the first time at this beach for me, with some black sand streaks showing, and I've rarely seen ring pulls hit this high. But the mineral combination and tab type were hitting very high for some reason. GB was tracking around 10 on the X70.
