I almost had the entire day off today so i went out for detecting for the afternoon. I revisited my old stinky beach. This time i braugh my wet suit in order to go a little deeper that with the wadders. Unfortunatly... on the deepest portion, the silty muck is about two feet thick, making it impossible to walk and detect. So i hunted the previously hunted area. Still plenty of signals anyway.
Here are the usual medals... used the dremel this time to clean them a little.

Got six silver coins, including a 46 US dime.

Found a large ring, but the color didn't lied... yep, plated crap. A little while later, i've heared that sweet tone
Yup, and other 10K signet ring ! That's gold ring number 5 for this season!

That should have been all. But At 16h30, i went to my son's school to meet with his teacher for years end talk. When i got out, weather was so nice, i decided to hit a small grass field i've pounded solid in the past.
Didn't get any signals and i was headding for the car when i got a strong silver signal... out popped that 1963 quarter encapsulated... probably an old key ring! Well, that will be silver number 7 for today. Was fun ! Wonder where i'll go tomorrow ?
