Rosco and I went out today to a park and then hit some strips. Rosco had just put up his detector (after about 3 1/2 hours) and I had about 50' to go. Right when he walked up I pulled a 1935 Merc. Poor Rosco. He found a pair of silver earrings so he did OK. I found 103 coins for $7.28. I found a $1 coin, a metal button, a magnet which made my MD go crazy and a few other trinket's. The picture where I am holding the Merc is next to an old stone post with rings to tie up horses. It kind of dates the area.
