Pull Tab & Foil Discrimination

Among the Discrimination Patterns available in the Discrim Menu are 2 labeled Pull Tab and Foil, and the latter especially rejects almost everything. Are these specialized for searching for jewelry only, no coins? Right now I'm using a Combined Coin and Jewelry pattern.

When I hunt, and add or take away a category from the disc. menu. I only disc. the crown tops, because if you disc. out the pulls tops, you may lose a lot of nickels and medium size gold rings. If you disc. out the foil, you may miss a lot of small gold rings, chains, gold coins, bracelets, medallions... So, be careful what you disc. out of your MindLab... Hope this helps... If you combined a jewelry and coin program via your edit screen is OK, But, you can also create an air response to certain gold, and silver, so your machine will respond to those types of targets... this is the way to go... Disadvantage is... you may lose depth, and miss out on some other targets close to those targets you had programed in....
