WHAT CAN I DO?

Dear God, what can I do for You
To calm another's fear,
One who dreads another dawn,
Who drowns in troubled tears?
Help me, God, to ease the pain
That rends that heart with sorrow,
To shed a glimmer of Your light
To brighten a tomorrow.

Please build the faith you give to me
That I may feel their need
And have the strength to offer help
In Your name and gently lead...
A brother, sister to the cross
To find their answers there
Within the shelter of Your love
With interceding prayer;
To be their friend as You are mine,
To help and comfort me,
Expressing my gratitude to You
For friends You've given me.
