I have used a bunch of different detectors in my 20+ years of detecting and I have to say these Garretts kick tail!! I like all forms of detecting and these two detectors get the job done for me. I use the AT-Pro on coins and jewelry hunting and plan on using the AT-Gold on relics and I might even try my luck at gold nugget shooting. All I got to say is I am a very happy camper with these two detectors and at their prices you aren't going to find a better machine than the AT series detectors!! It's great that I finally am happy with my machine and that's a huge confidence boost when you feel like the detector your swinging isn't going to miss a good target!! Thanks Findmall for giving us this forum so we can share info and pictures of our finds and also John for being our moderator you have helped me out a ton with the info you share here!! And last but not least Thanks Garrett Metal Detectors for making awesome machines that put the fun back into detecting!! Good Luck Guys On Your Next Outing!!

Good combo you have now. I used to tag along both my GTI 2500 with the 9" Imaging Coil and ACE 250 using the sniper coil. They made an awesome pair for detecting. Now I have upgraded to the AT Pro/AT Gold which make an even better dueling pair. Lots of the rings were found on land and water using both the AT Gold/AT Gold last year.......
