Prospecting w/ the Sovereign GT?

Hi,

I am new a metal detecting and would like to know if the Sovereign GT can be used for prospecting? If not, what other detector can be used for prospecting? I am looking to buy a detector that does coin/jewelry/relic hunting and prospecting. Thanks for your help.

Yes you can use it for prospecting although i have never tried it, also you could go for the Whites MXT

GT stands for Gold and Treasure. The Sov GT is designed for gold prospecting. That's why it has a ground tracking, all metal feature.
