Prospecting mode for relics?

I would like to talk to anyone who has used the MXT in prospecting mode to hunt for CW relics. Especially if they are hunting in bad ground. Thanks, Mark
 
I have used the prospecting mode on some occasions to clean a hunted hot area, but on my case, I can get almost the same depth using relic mode well adjusted and paying attention to the mixed mode responses
