Prospecting in PA

Steelhead

Can anyone tell me if it is possible/likely that i could find gold in PA? I live in Se PA and have a cabin in upstate Pa, Potter county. Any places around either. I have not gone yet, but would like to try it. I'd love to go to Alaska, but can't afford it right now with new house, marriage, kids etc.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks,
Brent

Brent get in touch with the Pa. chapter of the GPA for starters. Most of us are in Nv. Az. and Ca. some in Nm.
Good luck it's the greatest hobby. You have Civil War relics out there that are worth their weight in gold, that and old coins.

Thanks Joe i will look into that.

There is a Virginia gold forum site that has a section for PA and several PA people on it. You might want to check it out.
