Every since I started using the E-trac, my Propointer doesn't seem to work right. I took it to Garrett to get the vibrator replaced but still seems to not work as good. Does FBS technology mess with the Propointer. I am definitely going to get a X-1 when I can afford it. I have had the SunRay on other detectors and really liked it because of the tones.
I have two Garrett Pro-Pointers and I've used them with my E-Trac for 2 1/2 years and I've never had a problem running them side by side.
Garrett is great at standing behind their products - in warranty or not they will fix or replace any of their products.
Ive had to send my Pro-Pointer back to Garrett a few times - I always get the repaired or new replacement back with 12 to 14 days.
Maybe call Garrett and see what there repair techs have to say ?
