proper set up on treasure mate pin pointer

bula

Member
Just bought a used treasure mate pin pointer & did not come with a user manual, can any one tell me the correct way to set it ?

Yepper, had one for years.....great little pinpointer too, picks up small gold with ease. Do a google search and type in Treasure Mate, and Gold Fever Prospecting.com will come up, on that page will be all the operating inst.'s. I don't know how to set up links being computer 'challanged'.......Tesoro makes them so they could send you a manual. I'm too lazy to type it all out. Hope this helps:drinking:

How I set mine up is to turn it on, find a clean patch of ground.Put probe to ground.. If probe goes off Turn GB knob until probe quites down and becomes stable. Doesn't take much of a turn clockwise on the knob. I haven't had to use the other knob yet! It is one deep pin pointer:wiggle: I should add that most of the time there is no adjusting as long as the knobs are all the way counterclockwise. Hope this helps.
