Proformance DD coil finds 2 silver dimes

Went hunting with my 1500 and the Proformance DD coil at my mother-in-law's house again last weekend. Spent the first of 2 hours finding nothing but junk so I moved to another spot in the yard and soon after started to find a lot of coins -- 1 nickel, 13 pennies (3 wheaties including a 1910), and 2 1957 Rosie dimes. Like night and day just by moving 30 feet!

I really love that DD coil as it covers a lot of ground and I can run that sensitivity 2-3 notches higher (up to 9+) than with my newer rhino 9" coil. I don't miss not being able to size the target on the display, as I can usually judge the size of the object by holding down the imaging button and move the coil around and I dig all the targets that show up under the jewelry mode anyway. Pinpointing is a breeze, as I follow Uncle Willy's recommendation of centering the object by scanning left to right, then moving the coil down until the sound just about stops. The target is right below the center top edge of the coil. Still waiting to find a really deep target though, but otherwise the coil works great!
