About a week ago I posted I was having trouble with a media card and I now know that card is shot...
My problem now is that I did go to the recommended site to see if I could recover the photos....(did'nt work)Now the program IRFANVIEW that I use for viewing my photos was taken over by that photorecovery program......
I can't get to do any editing at all ..........
Is this some kinda spy ware crap I can't get rid of ???
If I click on a photo I get an ad from photorecovery asking me to buy it now to continue ????any HELP ????

Was your photo program Shareware?

Problems like this should be a addressed with the photo recovery program.
I do not have an answer for you.

It works fine on our computers.

Maybe the file type is now associated with the program. What operating system are you using? Try right clicking a photo file and choose open with and see if it will open in IRFANVIEW. If your OS is XP there is a box to check to always use that program.
Also just a note about your other post, your card has to be formated in the camera, not with your pc.
