Problems with 705!

Started having problems. Was out detecting today and the detector keep falsing. I then noticed that if I bumped the coil, hit the shaft, patted the control head or slighty shook it it falsed. Checked the coil(even tried another) and nothing changed it.Checked my digging buddy's 70 and it didn't false while doing any of these things. Anyone ran into this before? Also our detectors are set the same. Thanks all and HH

Maybe,
I have had similar problems and with a couple different coils and I think it may be related to EMI and sensitivity for me but I'm not sure.

Just a suggestion, but have you tried switching batteries or maybe cleaning the battery connectors? Instead of an interference problem, you could have a connectivity problem with the power source. JMHO HH Randy

Thanks for the ideas! Will check the battery's,contacts. Don't believe it is an interference problem. No power lines close by or anything like that. My buddy is running the same settings as I am and I tried his and can't make it have the same problems
