Problem with xChange2 software

I have installed the xChange2 software and the "File " icon does not appear. The "all" and "recycle" ones do, as do the folders "Samples", etc. Has anyone had this issue? I uninstalled and reinstalled but it still is not present.

It has been a while since I used Xchange2, but did you have the CTX plugged into your computer and turned on?
 
Connect your CTX 3030 to the computer . . . the icon will appear. For some reason the program needs to see the detector connected one time to show that icon. You can then remove the detector and the FILE option will remain . . . odd, but just hit the I BELIEVE button :)
