Problem developed using dug jewelry as tips.

The problem is I'm all out of stock. Between what my wife claimed, and the waitress' picked for tips, I'm down to 2 silver rings. I have been offering waitress' the choice of various pieces of silver vs $ tips. The girls all took to the idea, and haven't been turned down yet. What I do is place a paper $ tip on the side and bring out my assortment of silver rings etc. Tell them to pick a piece or take the money. Fun is watching them make up their minds. I've been averaging 4 bucks a ring. Well over scrap prices. Best part is the rings start making their rounds again.

That is so outrageously cool!:clapping: Better get out there and find some more!

I found a sterling silver ring Saturday Dancer, but I don't think I could give it away as a tip. How do you clean your rings? I tried some of the jewelry cleaner and it works somewhat, but after being in the water a long time, they are really stained.

There are rags that clean silver. Got to rub them down. If it fits wear it for a while, it will start to shine up.

John had me looking! I think I see the ring I lost...it is the round one on the left...

When our SBA, and now the Presidential dollars came out we used them at all the beach areas for tips in hopes they would find their way onto the beaches. Sorry to say it did not work too well.

Going to give Dancer's idea a go.

Thanks
