Probes

I got a 1350 about a month ago. I am having no problem locating targets - I have been hunting a French and Indian War battle field near my home in Pittsburgh. However, when I go to dig them up I keep coming up empty handed. Do I need a probe? If so, what kind? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If You Are Searching French and Indian War battle field, you probably want to keep your relics in the best shape possible. I would suggest you purchase a probe. Call some of the sponsors on this forum and see what they carry. I personally use the Vibraprobe, and am quite happy with its performance after having used several other types. There is also a inline probe now available from Sun Ray Detector Electronics. Check the advertisement when you open the Garrett Forum. I'm also leaving you a link to a probe comparison. There are lots out there. Good luck with whatever you get.
