Probe

Hi all. I took about a two year hiatus from detecting and recently picked up an SE. I wanted to put a Sunray X-1 probe on it but Sunray says they don't make them anymore. Any suggestions for a probe are greatly appreciated. Maybe another probe like the X-1 because they sure made changing coils easy. Thanks.

I'll say it first cuz I saw the post first. I just recently got an x-1 for my EX2. It was NOS,serial 323,very early model. Bought it for 175 shipped. Best thing ever. If you want one NOW,they are on the different forum classifieds and sporadically on eBay but you'll pay a premium,a good used one of either version will be 250+. Quite honestly, for what they are if they still made them I'd shell out 300 for one in the blink of an eye, that's how I feel about it. Undoubtedly others will feel different, but I like it that much. You'll just have to put out a WTB on the forums or keep an eye on the usual places...sorry I'm not helping in your quest much but I totally agree that they are a great item,if you don't mind a little extra weight.
Good luck!

Kevin
