Probe recommendation question....

Hi all,

I am contemplating purchasing an SE Pro to go along with my XS and was wondering if anyone could recommend a solid performing, reliable handheld probe. I have an X1 on my XS, but I've had both elbows operated on fairly recently and am looking to do anything I can to lighten the load so to speak. I'm looking for something I can trust, not junk. Would appreciate some recommendations before I take the plunge on the SE Pro.

Thanks all!

Garrett makes as good a hand held as you can find. The only issue as with most HH is feed back and since they arent attached you might loose one. The Garrett gets excellent depth as well. i understand your reasoning, but you cant bet having the ability to switch off the coil and still be using the screen.

I developed some bad tennis elbow in my swinging arm and the swingy thingy has been a life saver for me. I don't want to give up my Explorer if I can help it. I still use the X-1 probe on it too AND use a big old SEF 12 x 15 quite a bit. I also want to thank Dr. Gatewood for a perfect application of cortizone to the sore area over a year ago. It kickstarted my elbow into good health then babying it and some stretching has made it almost new.
Garrett's are good pinpointers if you want to go that route.
