Probe for 1270

shooter

Member
Anyone know if there is an inline probe for a 1270 Fisher? The autoMAX from KelleyCo is just to long to carry around in the woods, or a good deal on a small hand held.

nope there's no inline probe been looking for myself i beleieve or not use a cheap o centech and works really good for me

I have 2 old stock, original Fisher manufactured, automatic, in line probes for the 1270.= $149.,new, & $125. (demo).

Drop me a note.

Bill

I used a Fisher inline probe on my 1236X-2 and thought it worked great. Not sure why they stopped making these probes.Maybe too much like the Sunray system? HH Ron

So your saying you can't buy them anymore?

Neat part is when it is set to auto, you set your detector down and it switches to the probe, wish Sunrays did that!!!!!

From what I understand Fisher stopped making this in-line probe a few years back.My suggestion pick one up.The price Bill has is a lot cheaper than a Sunray and they perform very well.HH Ron

Sounds like a good idea, but I use the 1270, and 1265, plus a tesoro Silver Sabre. Dosen't help if I switch machines. Hand held would be a smarter move. Still think its a little high for a discontinued item no one even knew they made. 1270 came out a few years back. Might go fifty each.
