Probably my last find of the year !

Got out this afternoon hoping to add to my old nickel total. First target I dig turned out to be a deep 1918-D mercury dime. Two years older and I would have been real happy !! I've never seen such wet conditions this late in the year. Park was like a swamp with a couple inches of standing water in most areas. My explorer and most of me was covered in mud. Did dig about 10 nickels but no oldies today. Most seemed to be 1964's for some reason. Looking at weather reports, with colder temps on the way, the parks will probably be a frozen block of ice in a couple of days.

She's a beauty! I'll bet you have another find before the end of the year - you've still got 3 days left !
