Probably a Stupid Question

Stilllooking

New member
Hi everyone,

That's right, I'm Stilllooking for a metal detector. I think I am overwelmed with information.....I do have one question, and it will seem pretty stupid for some of you.
If you are on the beach and your good-ole metal detector goes off, What do you do with the metal detector while digging for whatever? Mind you, I will be by myself and don't want to lay the MD down in the water.
Sorry for the question, but would just like to know

Still looking

Well you could get a long handle scoop and hold on to the detector. But if your getting in the water or where a wave could hit you then you better buy a waterproof detector. There are a lot of waterproof detectors that work well on land too. What is your budget? How often are you going to be in or around the water?
