pro pointer question

pax

New member
got some water in my pro pointer today and was wondering if garrett will repair it? I have had for about a year.

If you sent in the warranty card and its under a year old then I would say yes. There service is second to none.

If you haven't registered it, go ahead and do so. I believe all Garrett wants is to be sure you are on the up and up. If you bought it, you are on the up and up, not buying it 10 years old from someone else.

If it's not salt water it should dry out. Try taking out the battery, give it a good shaking to get the excess out and then give it a good drying with a hair dryer and then let it sit for 24 hrs. It should be just fine...if it's not salt water.
