Pro pointer problems...help!

I have had my pro pointer for a year and a half and it has worked awesome...hunted all weekend, and no problems, just used it last night, worked great. Went out today turned it on and it made that low battery sound where it just beeps constantly, so I thought the battery was dead. So I go to my car get a fresh battery and it does the same thing? Any ideas? Went home tried another battery, does the same thing....do I need to send it in for service?

I can't find my reciept anywhere, but when I first got it, I registered it online for the warranty. Thanks for the help!

First try a quarter under the cap. Mine went bonkers right at 2 years. I sent it in and they replaced the guts. My original one when you first turned it on had a steady 1 second beep. Now it has two short beeps and it works better. I say if the quarter trick doesn't work simply send it in.

I just called them, they said I am still under warranty to send it in....thanks!
