Pro Pointer + AT Pro + Pro Screwdriver + Pro Hunter Found All These In About 2 1/2 Hours Today. :)

When coin shooting, it just doesn't warrant using digger, especially when hunting a park like I did today. There were lots of coins and by first locating exactly where they are using the Pro Pointer, then quickly popping them out with a screwdriver saved me so much time today. I bet I would have only found 1/3 of what I dug today had I used my digger, and the plugs turning yellow in a few days would really anger the park maintenance guys. That is one way of loosing detecting privileges in a park. Just something to think about.......

On the plus side, the AT Pro set up in Pro mode, with iron discrimination turned up to 40, iron audio turned on is a killer on :canadaflag:coins, when using both the VDI option plus the audio.

If you were my neighbor I ... you might hate and after exchange of state.:) Please do not come to Europe:lol:

It is fortunate not to need more than a screwdriver to dig. As always, you make very good hunts, congrats.

un saludo

Hey John,
I like your advice on the clad and am anxiouis to give it a try. Do you still get signals bouncing all over the place i.e.erratic, non consistent? I found that most modern Canadian clad give very erratic signals but if you watch the VDI, the odd high 80 or 90 will flash on the screen usually indicating a modern coin. Does the higher iron Disc and iron audio help with this at all?

The iron audio helps a lot for ID'n clad, so much that you probably don't even need to look at the screen. You end up digging a little more, but you end up getting more finds also.
