Pro -Pointer AT intermittent not working.

Some times when i switch my pro -pointer AT on there is no audio, i wave the pointer over the target and nothing happens , light comes on but the pointer will not sound off to the metal. I have to switch the pointer off then back on and it works ,- annoying!!

Try turning it on with your arm stretched away from yourself as far as possible.

On my last hunt my Pro Pointer AT started acting up by no sound just vibration - then it started working again & at times chirping, opening the battery compartment I realized it had the original battery in it so I change it out and back to normal. I sent one in to Garrett cause the sound did not work and in 8 days I had a brand new one, their service dept. is #1.

Make sure you have a fresh battery in it, had same problem after I bought my carrot, changed to copper top 9 volt.......problem gone.
