Pro pinpointer by Garrett...

Just how deep does this pinpointer pick up say a dime....???

Just read two reviews on top of page and really like its features...but...two top people review...one says coin objects 2 inches.....other says about 3 inches...I know Garrett makes a quality product and would like some input from hunters and certainly not knocking the product as it seems to be about the best on the market rel handheld units...
Also just watched a video and 1.5 inches was tops.....input appreciated....

I've never actually bothered to measure, but I would definately give it 3 inches on a dime sized object. Depends on the size of the target for sure. It's still the best pointer on the market. And absolutely no one can beat their customer service.

Just heard from one of the best detectorists I know...and certainly all the input I need....

"....best pinpointer I ever used ....3" on most targets ....unlike the 1" on the others....well worth the bucks...easy one button on/off bright LED light for night hunts..and a nice belt holder too. easy screw off cap on bottom for the battery. THis thing is like a( I DELETED) probe in a smal package with no wires.

ANything below 3 inches and I pin point with my detector. I dig down a few inches then re-insert the pin pointer. I rarely use my detector pin pointer in newer fields. I just out with the Garrett now and locate the target, then pop it the object out with my Gator. Works like a charm and its extremely fast.
