"Pro" mode on Canadian coins........

Ivan

New member
does the tone roll feature........... seperate out the one dollar coins- loonies and two dollar coins-toonies from bottlecaps? On my current detector these all read the same?

That is interesting...tells me how Canadian coins will sound......... but it doesn't tell me anything about the way the AT Pro sounds on bottle caps! And how the sound is different from the high value coins.......it's that interaction that I'm interested in.

If you use a DD coil, most bottle caps will sound off as coins. If you use a concentric coil, the ID bounces around 40's to the 60's. Canadian coins will bounce from the 40's to the 70's or 80's, which means it's probably a Canadian coin.
