Pro Cold Silver!

'Pro Cold Gold' would have made for a better post since it rhymes...

Hit Lake Michigan this morning for a 3hr hunt...lookat this cut! [attachment 304219 dec614-3.jpg] All sorts of clad, wheats, a nice 925 chain,[attachment 304221 dec614-6.jpg] a nice 925 heavy earring, (6.2gr)
The black sand was awful...signals are not any where near good hunting through the layers...they all sound like scrap or a cap when they are under 10" of layered sand like this...top dry sand was frozen a few inches and a guy had to chip through it....[attachment 304224 dec614-4.jpg].even nickels were pinging in High/low like a bottlecap, but I was getting them and getting them DEEP, so I kept hunting!..running Prozero, 25disc, one click down from full power...water temp mid 30's..big N wind...heavy longshore rip made digging and even wading knee deep tough...but it washed off all the light targets..

Any body have any info on the artist who did the earring?[attachment 304220 dec614.jpg] Some of you may recognize this place from my previous posts...I hunt it all the time, its a walk to get out there, and most of the time its sanded in, so a guy just turns around and goes somewhere else...when its cut like this though, a fellow has to stay in it...I've got some nice gold and a lot of silver outta here in the past, nice to see it still has more..I worked all the dry, the slope, the trough, and into the water back and forth...no gold today...I know its there...old green coins, a lot of nickels, wheats, junk ring...etc..maybe tomorrow will be the 'Pro Cold Gold?'

Good going Mud. Digging those numbers of targets help to keep one warm. 2 very nice silver pieces. HH jim tn

You did great out there - I know a couple of people who swear by the AT PRO and continually find goodies with it! Maybe you'll get a deeper cut here soon and find another older layer of treasure :beers:

Mud finding that silver may be cold going for you, but it sure got me fired up and wanting to go detecting. :detecting:

You just keep hitting it out of the park.

Like a boss! Way to get after it, Mud! Patiently waiting on pics of the gold next. You got to be close!

Dang....if I still lived in Ontario, I'd probably be hunting near you too. Nice finds, nice endurance and did the brass monkey lose anything

Thanks guys...yeah, looking at it, thats quite a slope there..

.Humberto Hernandez is a modern silver artist from Michigan...I checked out his website...talented design and construction a fellow has to appreciate...

The silver looks like a recent drop, especially the chain. Well done and nice clad amount, Mud. Endeavour to persevere....I was thinking about hitting some land spots near my house, but after seeing Hogzilla on the way to my house tonight, I don't want to turn my back on something that might think I'd make a good meal for him/her. Wish I knew somebody I could out run, I'd ask them to go with me.
lol

Nice argent goodness Mud:clapping: And the chain draped across the Pro makes fine Christmas silver garland:crazy:

Ya got to strike while the irons hot ! Or in your case when the Beach is frozen. What a great spot to hunt.
