Pro Coil

Hey guys I've been hunting mainly with my 6x8 sef coil and have been getting a little frustrated that I have this huge pro coil (comparitively) that I don't use. I feel like I could cover so much more ground with it yet everytime I try to get out with it all I get are false signals where it says I have something good in the ground yet its nowhere to be seen when I actually dig. Yet when I put the sef on and double check it always tells me either nothing is there or it's trash.

Anyone else experience this problem? As a side note I just read Bryce's field test on the pro coil and he seems to have experienced a similar problem and had some insight on how to work with the pro coil to avoid this, but I was wondering if it was repeatable with the safari? I'm seriously considering trying to sell the pro coil for a larger sef coil to avoid the frustration from this thing.
